He is a multi-talented individual serving as a director, screenplay writer, and choreographer. Among his notable works are acclaimed films such as “Sairat,” “Fandry,” “Kasav,” “Triple Seat,” “Surasapata,” and “Nilkanth Master.”
Showcasing his exceptional talent and skills in this field, Mr. Santosh has bagged over 150 awards in his ongoing career, including a few prestigious awards like Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Zee Gaurav Award, Prabhat Award, Nratya Jivan Gaurav Award, Kalagaurav Puraskar, Alvasa Puraskar, and Samyak Puraskar.

Film industry is one of the growing industries all around the world and it creates an economy. India stands out as a country that produces a huge amount of content. Every year, around 2500 movies are registered at the Censor Board in India, making it the top contributor in terms of content creation. Indian films enjoy popularity globally, going beyond mere entertainment. Despite this, Indian cinema is often perceived solely as a source of entertainment, overlooking its potential as a powerful educational tool. To challenge this perception, we are launching the Enlighten Film Academy.
Our goal is to redefine the notion that cinema is solely for entertainment by showcasing its cultural and traditional values, offering a glimpse into our country’s outlook. The Enlighten Film Academy aims to produce well-rounded filmmakers who possess comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking. They will have the ability to create authentic, research-based, educational, and value-driven films. By nurturing such filmmakers and guiding them towards success, we hope to change the world’s perception of Indian cinema. Our ultimate target is to groom aspiring filmmakers who can create films that mirror our society, recognizing the transformative potential of cinema as a tool for change.
